Written in honor of the great Argentine Tango and Folk dancer, Pampa Cortés, a dear friend and Tango mentor, who spent his final years in California teaching Tango and Argentine culture. The Pampas are the great plains of Argentina where many Gauchos (Argentine Cowboys) plied there trades.
